Achille Castiglioni (1918–2002) visionario.
31.05.2018—23.09.2018

On the occasion of the centenary of its birth, the exhibition celebrates a great protagonist of the golden season of Italian design: Achille Castiglioni, an internationally renowned architect with a strong visionary capacity, who has made 290 objects of design and 484 installations, experimentation and innovation.

The exhibition - which is part of the vein dedicated to the "Masters of the twentieth century" - is promoted in collaboration with the Achille Castiglioni Foundation and focuses on the great ability of the regia that emerges in the work of Castiglioni.

Sketches, drawings, models, video testimonials, original objects, prototypes and autograph texts - a large part of which were presented for the first time - highlight the perfect combination of simplicity and irony that characterizes the depth of his ideas and his ability to building spaces in close collaboration with graphic designers, in particular the Swiss Max Huber.
