Atollo - OLuce

table lamp (1977)

Atollo is a 1977 project by Vico Magistretti for Oluce. Over the years it has become the archetype of the table lamp, winning the Compasso d'Oro ADI in 1979.

Magistretti draws pure, absolute geometric shapes: cylinder, cone, semi-sphere. The result is a product foreign to fashions and trends, destined to become an icon of Italian design and Made in Italy.

The Atollo table lamp is available in three sizes and in different finishes in white or black metal, opal glass and gold.

Atollo is part of the collections of the main international museums:
MoMA Museum of Modern Art, New York, 1979
